Are you ready to take your music career to the next level?  Apply for the Music Connects Africa ZW programme (formerly Scripts and Bars), a music incubator and accelerator programme designed to accelerate your music career and business.

Programme includes:

→ Access to financial investment (Grants)

→ Extensive music business masterclasses covering music distribution, marketing, publishing, copyrights & contracts, live music and more

→ Songwriting and recording camp led by established music industry experts in Africa and Uk

→ Mentorship & coaching by industry experts

→ Showcasing and networking opportunities

Who should apply?

→ Applicants aged 18+ based in Zimbabwe

→ Independent Artists not signed to a record label

→ Talent Managers with at least 1 music artist under their management

→ Must have at least 2 years’ experience with a proven track record of professionally released music online or performing live

→ young people, women and those from underrepresented communities are strongly encouraged to apply

Commitment/ Expectations:

Please only apply if you are committed to developing your music career as a priority

Must be able to attend all workshops and events in person and online

The programme will run from February to July 2025
